Zee TV's popular show Kumkum Bhagya is all set to take a leap of 20 years. And with the forthcoming changes, many actors from the show have called it quits as they don’t wish to play elderly roles. Some of them in the list who have exited from the show include names like Leena Jumani who essays the character of Tanu and Shikha Singh.

Of course, as the storyline will change, new faces will be added to the star cast. Which is why, yesterday, news of Priyank Sharma joining the show as Sriti Jha- Shabir Ahluwalia’s son was buzzing on social media. But we hate to break Puncch Beat actor’s fans heart that the news isn’t true. Priyank is not a part of Kumkum Bhagya.

SpotboyE.com contacted Priyank to confirm the news and he said, “No, I am not doing the show.” Well, now that you heard it from the horse’s mouth, you know what the truth is.

Talking about the 20-year-leap in the show, the story will now focus on Abhi-Pragya (Shabir-Sriti) and their young college-going daughters, Rhea and Prachi. Though the daughters are twins, yet they are two completely different strong personalities, as their upbringing sets them apart. Prachi will be a complete replica of Pragya in terms of her simplicity, practicality and sensitivity as she has been raised by her and Rhea will be shown as a spoilt by luxury and pampered daughter of a successful rockstar, who has been raised by Abhi. What will happen when these two strikingly opposite, yet headstrong personalities come face to face? Will they be able to bring Abhi and Pragya together for good? Let’s wait and watch!
